Plantlife Breckland wildflower surveys – call for volunteers

Plantlife has been involved in conservation work in the Breckland area and through this work hopes to bring 50 plant populations back from the brink securing sustainable solutions for their future management. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help us monitor the impact of this work during 2013 and beyond. Volunteers will be provided with training helping them to identify 28 important plant species and will receive ongoing support. This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy being outside, would like to know more about the wild plants in their local area and have 1 or 2 days to spare next year during the spring and summer.

If you feel that this may be of interest to people you know then please visit www.wildaboutplants.org.uk/brecks and complete our volunteer interest survey.
