New Jubilee bench at Lophams Village Hall.

The Lophams’  Jubilee Celebrations raised a profit of £320.00 on the event, mainly through  the Tea Tent and Burger Stand.   The Jubilee Committee decided that a fitting memorial to the event would be to donate a bench to the village hall.  The bench is now in situ and the photograph shows:  Jennie Vere of the Village Hall Committee, accompanied by Jubilee Committee members;  Peter Coster, Steph Fleming, Granville Horan and Robert McCaw.

  • CHAMPIONS!

The Lopham’s Village Sports Team came away from the Breckland Village Games as champions after a hard fought competition.  A fantastic team effort winning the athletics, rounders, archery, climbing wall and senior table tennis, and also competing in darts, football, tennis, badminton, fitness triathlon and carpet bowls.

  • Lophams’ Ramblers March 2012

On a misty March morning Lophams Ramblers set off for one of our regular walks around North and South Lopham.  Gradually the weather cleared, although it was chillier than the previous couple of days. This photograph was taken by one of our newer members on 2 March 2012.

We continue to meet on the first Friday of the month usually at 0930 for a walk of about 5 miles in the local area.  As we occasionally have to change the walk and therefore the meeting place, the programme for future walks will not be advertised in advance. New walkers are always welcome.
